Dry Cleaning process
Dry cleaning is similar to a home wash, excepting that a liquid solvent is used to clean clothes instead of detergents and water.
Repeated use of detergents with hard water, may cause a deposit to build up on the cloth and such a deposit could lead to abrasive damage to fabric leading to a considerable shortening of the fabric life.
A lot of Fabrics mention “Dry Clean” only. This is because the use of water may damage the fabric. Certain types of fabrics including leathers, woolens and silk etc are damaged by the use of water.
